Bill Sanden

Bill grew up in Wyoming and Colorado and graduated from Loveland High School and Colorado State University. His accounting career began in Denver with the firm now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers. After moving to Colorado Springs in 1971, Bill served as a controller for a real estate and development firm for three years.

Returning to public accounting, he worked with a local firm and started the firm now known as SSA, P.C. in 1981, primarily specializing in audit services for construction firms and employee benefit plans located in Colorado and Utah.

During his career, Bill has been a bank director for two banks, served on Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce committees and as treasurer for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Bill has also served as a director for the Colorado Society of CPAs and president of the Society’s endowment fund. He was appointed by the governor and served as a director and past president of the Colorado Educational & Cultural Facilities Authority for eight years and presently is treasurer of Peak Vista Community Health Centers in Colorado Springs, serving southern and eastern Colorado. 

Bill retired from his firm in June 2017 and works on some forensic accounting projects to keep busy and enjoying more time with his wife, children and four grandchildren.
